Thoughts on first year of Jordan/Nike gear?

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Well, since the season is over, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the gear after one year.

The uniforms? The fan gear? What is your favorite? The shoes? Was it everything you expected it to be?

You know my thoughts.

Got the Jordan track jacket, and the hoodie with the face mask thing. I love them. The fabric is nice and it moves nicely with my body. I've worn the track jacket every day at work and it's held up nicely. I got my son the kids football jersey and he looks good in it.

It is pretty expensive, but it looks and feels better than my adidas gear (minus my maize and blue adidas track pants, which are slick as hell).

When I first got my track jacket, a random young and cool lookin black dude said "you look cool as hell" to me at work. As a white dude in his mid 30s with extra weight and a receding hairline, it was the greatest complement I've gotten in the last half decade.

I still don't like the jumpman on the football gear, but can't complain really. Still beautiful to look at! Go Blue!

I really like the fb uniforms especially the tweaks to the helmets. For me the shirts fit wierd but the new hat with breathable fabric is nice.

The Jordan Elite fleece are probably the most comfortable pair of pants I've ever had... I also have the hyper elite pants which were a little tight at the wiast and bottom, but comfortable comfortable otherwise.

I returned the home and away jersey shorts.... I wasnt a big fan of how they designed the shorts (triming was a little muich) and they were not all that comfortable.

The Jordan lux extended is comfortable, but long (hence extended)

Jordan Stripped M hat is sweet

Block M long sleeve shirt is a little tight in the arms and I am concerned about bacon neck

Overall I am happy. The stuff I have wears well and I love seeing more traditional shades of maize and blue, but they should take another look at shorts.

Next purchase(s) will likely be shoes and/or elite hoodie.

I personally like the new apparel for the most part. Like most people I am sure they were some things they found ugly. I got a bunch of basic looking stuff and enjoy it. The fit is good and the materials seem decent for at least average wear.

Love most of it.  We spent way too much at the MDen when we went up for the Hawaii game.  My kids, wife and I all got some regular Nike and a few Jordan things for xmas.  I bought maybe 1 or 2 non-hat clothing items during the Adidas regime.  Thought most of that stuff was ugly and I just don't care for Adidas.  Call me crazy but I've been a Nike/Jordan person most of my life, hope they stay together for a looooong time.

Horrible fit. Great styling. Had to return it all. No talls? If you're over 6'4 you're fucked.

Mden had a sliding meter on how it all fit. They took it down because every shirt was maxed out at too small of a fit.

The annual Tee, a hoodie, and a dri-fit cap. Bought my wife a tee and hoodie. About $200 total. Gave the cap away because it was easily the worst fitting/quality cap I've ever had. The hoodies are great and my wife loves her tee, but the annual football tee was a disappointment as well. Same complaint about the tight armpits, but the tag location was irritating (top of shoulder). I removed the tag, then a wash later the seam blew apart. I'll buy another next season though...baa baaa baaaa.
