Running Backs Coach Update
I apologize if this has already been posted, but according to the Det News, Wheatley will be in town this week to discuss the opening on the coaching staff. The rest of the article is mostly stuff we already knew.

Sam Webb has been throwing out subtle hints on Wheatley for a while. On radio he said he can't confirm/deny anything. This morning he mentioned maybe there would be 'help' with Tyrone Wheatley Jr. soon and Sr. is interviewing today. This is definitely a read between the lines scenario with Sam who's said he talked to Sr. often. I think we find out he's hired pretty soon here & I think we very well could see a package deal with this son...Nice little double pickup if this happens!

A fine man; I had the pleasure of sitting at the lunchtable with Fred a couple times during UM Club of Greater Detroit meetings. A credit to the University and a fine developer of young men. But we all need to go sometime. We need a coach with whom the players can more directly relate and who will more accurately reflect the Harbaugh approach. I hope that's Tyrone.
