I get excited to watch these, but I always stop after a minute or so because I find them boring. Roman Wilson was awesome, and I loved watching him play, but I don't really care what the Houston Hilton escalator looks like.

I guess I'm a little confused what it is you think you're getting when you're "excited" going into them. They are exactly what I expect them to be; a player "vlog" showing a behind the scenes look at the day-to-day life of a player on the team. You see a little lockerroom stuff with friends, maybe a little bit on the team bus. On one of his first vlogs he showed going to class, going to practice, his dog. Not groundbreaking. But fairly interesting stuff for a fan of the team I'd say.
That said, we're not going to get to see "real" practice footage, or intimate coach and team moments. It's not a BTS documentary.

Go check out his Rose Bowl vlog - his highlight edit is probably the best I've seen, which is incredibly impressive because it was made by a star player.

Would love to see Roman Wilson in Honolulu Blue next year, think he would be a perfect complement for Amon Ra, Laporta and Jamo.

He is from Hawaii so Honolulu Blue suits him.

Roman in Honolulu blue would certainly be appropriate.

Yes it would. Although he’s actually from Maui. Still representing the 808 either way!!
This just seems to reflect "who" Roman Wilson is - and Team 144 was. They're young - enthusiastic - full of energy - hard working - disciplined - and - enjoyed the journey.
It seems to me that the cultural change (which I believe in) really started with Team 142. I recall their road trip to Madison and participating in the Jump Around at Camp Randall.
That felt different - special.
The team was playing at a high level - and - having fun at the same time.
I'm not a fan of the "gold turnover chains" - and, honestly - didn't know what to think of the turnover Buffs. Obviously - the Buffs are enjoyed by the entire team and staff - and, it's a more subtle spin on the theme.
Hoping Team 145 and beyond continue to display both their knowledge of the game - quality of execution - and, sense of youth and fun while accomplishing their goals.
Go Blue!
I ordered the turnover buffs and will be rocking them this year at the stadium :)
Sweet... I'm hoping two things -
First - that you and the team are putting on the Buffs multiple times per game...
Second - as they say - "the future's so bright you've gotta wear shades".
Brian used the term “stealing valor” re: the jump around and that was in hindsight, yes, a huge turning point. This three year run has been tremendous.
I found Romans Vlog wonderfully entertaining and very different then other insights on social media. Although it is most certainly an eclectic taste it is not for lack of creativity or energy. I like watching Roman and the posse have fun and win.
If not for you - ok - but nothing to knock and I cant get enough of the winning.
Beautiful...
But trigger warning for some...he does say "Natty" a few times right at the top ;)
Not to sound ungrateful BUT…
Kind of bummed there’s 0 in-game footage. Roman always had the best edits, really put his own character into it above and beyond “just” a highlight reel. But I get it, dude has a couple other things going on.
Nonetheless, a glorious video to remind us of the superlative hype with which this team dripped. NATIONAL CHAMPIONS, BABY!!!

I don't know this to be exactly true, but I do know how YouTube works. There's a good chance that if he uses in-game footage his video will be demonetized by YouTube because he is not the copyright holder and does not have permission to rebroadcast the game. I know he's used footage in the past, but the demonetization fairy can come at any time, and that potentially that played a role in it.
But also, yeah, he's got "a couple other things" going on ... like say, trying to earn that dream job of his in the NFL. May also be a good reason why this one came out months "late" versus his usual week or two later.
