Thanks.

Pretty quick interview mostly talking about being glad to put the last year behind him. Then Desmond fortells a 6-6 season. Hmmm............

I'm pretty sure Desmond is being realistic here. Any pundit who starts spouting off 8-9 wins for Michigan is going to get derided by the media and fans.

that never took a shower because "he was different".

prediction was a ruse to fire the team up. I really hope so...

though I'm surprised that Desmond wasn't more upbeat.
The most likely victories are the home dates against WMU, ND, EMU, IU, DS, and PU. Winning on the road against MSU, IA, IL, and WI with a pure fresh QB and a defense with no depth and a million question marks is going to be a very difficult task, in large part because winning on the road is always a tough thing for a young team. Beating PSU and OSU at home? Neither seems real likely at this point. If we beat ND and then go up to MSU and beat them, that'll be a sign that maybe we're capable of turning the corner earlier rather than later.

"at least 6 wins".

I believe Desmond was the one who predicted we'd miss a bowl game after sitting in on one of our practices last year. Let's hope he's wrong this time.

I agree. Desmond does have a great deal of insight into the Michigan program and I too hope he is wrong this time.

I'll be the one to say it again. Just to keep your minds refreshed.
