Quick reminder - the candidate forum for the U-M Board of Regents is today, 10/24 at 4pm at the Ford School (Weill Hall), 735 S. State Street, corner of State and Hill.  If you can't be there, you can follow the live webstream here:

I have no idea what her political affiliation is and when I was a student, Kathy White was just a face on the stage at commencement, but... DAMN she has one respectable and impressive resume and, IMO, she was heads and shoulders above the rest in terms of knowledge about the U (as expected, but still was impressive).  Clearly knows her stuff.

Kathy White was one of my law profs at Wayne State and she was easily the least-knowlegeable of all the faculty and adjuncts I encountered during my time there. Its quite surprising to think that anyone would consider her qualified to be a Regent. U of M can do better (and should).
