Recommendations - in town for the Game

Submitted by LSA91 on November 20th, 2021 at 4:19 PM

Sorry if this is a FAQ or too early! I haven't been in town since the last OSU game, and am coming in this year with my wife and two kids over 21. We have dinner plans for Friday night, but does anybody have recommendations for Saturday morning?

Last time, I think we went to the MGoBlog/HomeSure pregame, but any place that's good and where I have a chance of getting in would be welcome, or any must-sees beyond taking the kids to see the prison-like but still delightful dorm where their parents met. (Markley)  We'll probably be driving the kids home pretty soon after the Game, and the Zingerman's line would be worth it for us, but might lose the kids.

Angelo's would be impossible. Broken Egg on Main North of Huron, Northside Grill on Broadway (a few blocks North of Angelo's) are more realistic options.

Dress warm. The weather looks like I wanna be at home prepared to curl up and suck my thumb after I’m completely inebriated by the half. I picture myself waking up late in the 4th realizing it wasn’t a bad dream as I look in the mirror at my bleeding forehead from crushing empty cans on it from the first OSU drive going forward. Scenario 2 is making it all the way till the end because the game is close only to blackout after we somehow find a way to piss it away. I hope I’m wrong and if you take anything away from my rant, it’s to dress warm.
