Actually, they said that they were going to try and move his segment to Tuesday because of the Thanksgiving holiday. That being said, I don't believe Brian appeared this week.

For anyone that wants a good way to listen to the podcasts on an android device, this is what I do.

Install Google Listen on your android. Once you have logged in, it should add a "Listen Subscriptions" section to your Google Reader account. So go to Google Reader ( and click "Subscribe" and enter the url:

This should subscribe you to the podcast mp3's. In Google Listen, its just a matter of navigating to the wtka podcasts under My Subscriptions and playing the podcasts. The one downside is that the podcasts can be named semi weirdly, and they are uploaded in random orders. So when I start listening, I go through the podcasts and starting with track one and going through to the last track I click "add to queue" and this basically creates a playlist.

It still works.

1. Go to the iTunes store.

2. Search for 'wtka"--you'll get two results, "wtka" and "WTKA Podcasts."

3. Select the first, "wtka."

Good luck!

As soon as I discovered TuneIn radio for my android over the summer I started listening to WTKA every day at work. Then, after about a month or so, it started saying "station restricted by broadcaster" whenever I tried to bring up WTKA. I then switched to Detroit sports talk radio, and after about 2 weeks of problem free listening, it started doing the same thing. Never did figure out what was wrong, but it was maddening.

On the iPhone I use this app to listen to stations all over. Wtka works great. U can listen live. Also, while any national shows are on Wtka they replay the Michigan Insider online at various times of the day.
<br>Otherwise, use the podcast but it's not always updated right away.
