OT - Why is EA Sports Team Builder so much fun?

Submitted by Seth on
I remember the first time NCAA Football allowed you to create your own schools. Even with like no options, I still spent hours goofin around with it. Now, they've put it online, and even allow you to upload your own logos, or choose from hundreds of uniforms. This just isn't fair. http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/ncaafootball/create_a_school This had to be an MGoBlogger: http://www.thewrightstache.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/lolwut.gif

I do not have anything of awesome value to add here, but I absolutely agree. The team builder is a great feature to tide NCAA franchise fans over until the game is released. I always loved making a crappy school and then turning them into a straight-up superpower.

I am gonna make the Fightin' Sean Connery's. I will use a picture from the SNL Celebrity Jeopardy skits. All the players will be different celebrities or catch phrases from the skits.

I see the choices for making your roster have a lot of options for player faces. It looks like they are taking Madden's style of faces and selections. If so, I like it. Madden has a more realistic feel with the player models. I don't think they have dreads, but still a positive.

I don't really like it - I have always seen creationg non-existent schools as sort of asinine. Howeva, I-AA (FCS whatever) teams will be good to have in the conference realignement thing, and seeing all the attributes first is cool.

would somebody like to explain to me why it won't let me fill in the blanks on the first page? I type it in and go to the next blank but it just erases itself.
