OT: Liveblog curse

Those of you who still, despite the overwhelming evidence, cling to your materialistic superstitions and deny the hated Liveblog Curse, shall shudder once more at this incontrovertible piece of evidence. Lo, as Brian did today host no accursed liveblog, a militant sect of Tamil separatists surrendered their weapons to the Sri Lankan government, stating that they see no future as a paramilitary organization. They have seen the light and embraced peaceful means to their ends. We should commend them. And they, in turn, should thank the Great and Honorable Brian for shielding the cosmos from the disastrous results of our inexplicably linked curse. And at this point I shall make a prediction. Archaic bastard that I am, chum to spirits and ancient mystical forces, I've got the inside scoop. So it shall be: When the LTTE finally ends all hostilities, the Liveblog curse shall be lifted.
