OT: HC Harsin keeping job at Auburn for 2022

Saved by the massive buyout and being in Mexico when it all broke is my guess.
Auburn should have just stuck with Gus IMO, and I'm not sold Harsin is going to survive next year.

Kinda crazy these dudes almost beat Alabama.

Really seems like Alabama just sleptwalk through several of their games this year, against teams they should've wiped the floor with from start to finish. LSU and Auburn immediately came to mind.
Seemed like it took them literally having their season on the line in the SEC title game for them to finally wake up and decide to start playing ball.

Boise undergrad here, we weren't even very sad to see him go as he's a known asshole.

Still surprised that they fired Gus before all this.
Not sure he's going to be there at the end of this year.

Guess the grind really got to him, quite the shocker. Must have had his hands full with other things.

No doubt recent events played a hand in that.

Also of note per the link, the steakhouse had 69 Yelp reviews.

“With the team headed back to Jacksonville and grandkids at home, I took the opportunity to eat out. Unlimited hot buns and great company. I even got to be in some movies. I’ll definitely come again.”

Those two articles will collide when Urban replaces Harsin in December.

That actually a good bet. Is any site laying odds on this?

LEADERSHIP!
BTW: Michigan beat his old team, The Ohio State University, by a score of 43-27 - in a game that most describe as "a fucking ass-kicking."

I missed something. Why was he on the chopping block after one season?

Thanks for posting that link.
“Any attacks on my character are bullshit” is such an tremendous thing for an adult to say especially since it wasn’t intended as a joke.

Yes. There was a mass exodus of players and coaches after the season. Things got so bad that some Bobby Petrino-style rumors got out there to try and get him fired. None of this likely happens if his team doesn't choke away a 25-point lead to Miss State and blow the Bama game.

Petrine style? You mean that instead of a motorcycle accident, he got his ass whipped by the boyfriend of the women he was sleeping with?

Is this where we say "War Eagle"?

Auburn is a disaster of a job. Boosters rule that place.
