OT - Entourage rips on Plaxico

Haha, Priceless. I think this made my night, completely out of nowhere too. (I just hope this doesn't ruin it for anyone who was going to watch it anyways.) Bob Saget is hilarious too btw.

you put OT in your title doesn't necessarily mean you needed to post it. ;)

am i the only person on the internets to have never seen a single minute of 'entourage'?

If an ex-UM player, say Tom Brady, was the person who was just sentenced to two years in jail for his own stupidity, mlive would find a way to milk it for at least a week, with interviews from every waitress, bartender, and stripper in the "club" where he shot himself. Also, of course, there would be some bashing of UM's recruiting and suggestions that the entire process be blown up and started over.

Instead, mlive seems to be giving MSU a free pass on this one.

I'm glad the thread was started. Ignoring MSU won't make them go away, but beating them will make them whine instead of bragging, which I greatly prefer.

There are numerous trolls out there who feel that Michigan is minimized by RR and the fact that he coached PacMan and Chris Henry while they were in college. It's not necessarily something that is seen as true or accepted by logical individuals, but that's the way it is.
It goes back to truth vs. perception, and far too frequently the media doesn't seem too interested in truth.

Pretty much all it is a show about one actor and much of friends who came along with him to Hollywood after he blew up as movie star. The show explores the whole personal side of the hollywood lifestyle as well as the crazy shit that happens along the way.

As usual wikipedia, has better write up.

I sometimes think people like the concept of it so much -- a group of buddies living it up in Hollywood on their pal's dime, what's not to love there -- they tend to overlook the stale writing and crappy acting. But what do I know, I'm the guy who was dragged to a Dane Cook concert and spent 2 hours wondering why 15,000 people kept laughing the whole time.

I do watch Entourage, but I kind of hate it. It's kind of like a frenemy, a term derived from the chick version of the show that it is ripping off. It is a funny show though.

Dane Cook and Entourage represent the douchization of American pop culture. Unlike Entourage, Dane Cook can just eat a dick.

By the way, I'm falling in love with How I Met Your Mother. It's a very funny show. The characters are very lovable too, unlike in Entourage

I find those persons who wail and gnash their teeth at Bill Hicks' lack of popularity to be annoying as hell. But I will say this -- the fact that Dane Cook is a media empire while Mitch Hedberg is dead is proof positive that this universe is ruled by something that hates humanity.

"I can't tell you how happy I am to find other people who think Dane Cook isn't funny."

Co-sign. Here I thought I was the only one. I needed like an I Hate Dane Cook support group or something. Like Garvie, I sat through 45 minutes of some Dane Cook special on Comedy Central and chuckled exactly once. What a completely unfunny, worthless hack.

My stepdaughter, who is sixteen, wanted her mother and me to watch a Dane Cook comedy special on television one evening. I think I chuckled once during the entire hour. He's very juvenile, which is why teenagers think he's funny.
