Mrs. Gopoohgo has hijacked the "good" TV,  Me and the dog are eating potato chips as I drink Union "Balt The More" Altbier 32 oz growler.

32 oz is not enough.  Share the pain!

FWIW Thought "Boyhood" was innovative, but not the best movie I've seen (American Sniper).

Did not see "Birdman", but thought Benjamin Cumberbatch (Imitation Game) did the best job of movies I saw.

Did no one see Foxcatcher?  Steve Carrel hands-down should have won Best Actor.  It just seems like no one saw what was truly a great movie.  I'm pretty happy with the Birdman win, though.  Outstanding movie.

Funny, on a night where we chastise actors for pretentiously celebrating themselves, we still chastise them when they want to take the spotlight off of themselves and point it towards a greater cause.  Not saying I always enjoy being preached at by often entitled actors, but there is something very courageous about them using their moment more effectively than just thanking their millionaire friends/backers.  That said...

John Legend's and Common's speech was appropriate given the subject matter of the movie and the song they poured their heart into.  Patricia's Arquette's was a little more out of left field, but given that she is a bit quirky and political, something like that was expected (and what she said wasn't untrue either).  As for Graham Moore's speech, there was nothing political about it.  It took balls to admit what he did, and by saying it, he may have saved a few lives.  I think it was one of the greatest acceptance speeches I've ever seen.

what is shaving man?  If you shave, the hair all grows back anyway, so have you really accomplished anything?  Is there any point to shaving?   If I never shave again, will anyone care?  Will anyone recognize me?  Can I still do Lincoln commercials if I have a beard that makes me look like I've been in a POW camp for the past 5 years?    Maybe if I wait long enough to shave, someone will pay me to do shaving commercials too.  Do I have to do a voiceover for the shaving commercial, or can I just stand there and stare into the camera?
