Is this referring to the free t shirts from an earlier thread?
Accompanied by this:
Do a sillouette of rich rod in that picture, minus the wvu stuff, saying thumbs up for michigan on it.
I just about fell out of my chair laughing when i saw this...any way we can photoshop some UM logos on the mic and background...add an MGBlog logo/stamp and make it in various background sizes for my computer...a sillouette for a t-shirt would be fabulous...
Too funny...and the timeliness of it is awesome!
Thumbs up for Michigan!
stolen.
I like what you did with the thumbnail...do you have it in a format large enough to use as a background on my wide screen laptop...that would be too cool...
Thank you very much and a "thumbs up" to you...
How about using some of the lyrics from "Especially in Michigan?"
Isn't there a lyric about "West Virginians?"
We should play this song in during Pre-Game.
"Kill it, eat it and poop it out"

I am also a fan of "Go Balls Deep" since it can work on alot of levels.
I think we have Welcome to the Cornfield, too.
I was swept away by the greatness of the slogan and offered up a t-shirt:
I'm probably in the minority here, but I think the more pompous and pretentious the slogan, the better. As Michigan fans we're already tagged with the "arrogant" label, may as well embrace it.
A few years back the ND students came to town sporting shirts that said "There's a magic in the sound of their name....Here come the Irish". The height of pretension. All of us at our tailgate were irritated by the sight of this shirt and it made the Michigan victory that much more satisfying. Still the shirt WAS effective in pissing off the rivals, which should be one of the goals of any good football t-shirt.
As obnoxious as I find Irish fans, I can't help but think they have the right approach when it comes to their shirts. Let's move towards eloquence rather than towards the juvenile "Muck Fishigan" that is so popular with our mentally challenged friends to the south.
I like this logic.
My Junior year (the year of Desmond's catch), there were shirts being sold around campus that said "Notre Dame: We will beat them on the field, but they can beat us off." It was accompanied by a picture of the Leprechaun with a goofy smile on his face and a big glove on one of his hands.
I gave it some thought and came up with this....doubt it will resonate with the "Thumbs Up" crowd, but I think this would definately irritate some Spartys and Bucknuts.

All I need now is a maize t-shirt and a talented person to add cool football pictures and such.
A good example of a shirt that fits the bill would be the "Bow Down Little Brother" maize shirts that popped up after the 2007 MSU game. Not the most eloquent and too rival specific, but it strikes the right note on the arrogance meter. I was particularly amused by the flip side of the shirt where it listed off the scores of the most recent winning streak, including striking the 2001 Sparty Bob MSU "win" from the roll. Saw a girl wearing this at the UM / MSU hockey game at the Joe and it raised some hackles amongst the Spartan fans. Terrific!
was an awesome shirt. And by striking out 2001, it had the score as 24-20.
That was a beautiful touch.
