Michigan opens at -17.5 vs. Maryland

Despite the closeness of the game vs. NW, this one is at home -- and I would NOT be surprised to see Michigan win in blowout fashion. Now, that said, 17.5 seems like a lot of points, at first glance, and while Maryland's defense is suspect, their offense can be explosive. 

Maryland has had a bye week before us, just like Northwestern did.  I predict another close game.

And then Wisconsin has a nice warm-up scrimmage against Nebraska the week before they play us.
