Men's Baseball - Indiana - Friday afternoon - 3:00 pm EDT on BTN
Michigan baseball faces Indiana this afternoon in the B1G Tournament. The first pitch is scheduled for 3:00 pm EDT with a broadcast on BTN.
It's a double elimination tourney - and Michigan's opening game loss means - "win or go home".
The winner will face Iowa tomorrow - Saturday - at 10:00 am EDT.

Michigan will be starting their usual closer, Freshman Mitch Voit. Voit is 3-1 with 5 saves and a 3.26 ERA in 18 relief appearances, but is making the first start of his career. They are going to try to get as many innings as possible from him before they resort to bullpen roulette.
On top of being the closer, Voit is also Michigan's usual starting third baseman. He will DH today and bat 5th.
he will also prepare the post-game meal and drive the bus back to campus.
He's also selling popcorn and peanuts in between innings.

Some good hitting by Michigan and some bad fielding by Indiana in the bottom of the 3rd puts Michigan up 3-0.

IU scored 1 in the top of the 5th and we got it right back in our half.
Runners on the corners, still just one down.
IU forces a Michigan pitching change, as they have made it 7-2 and have runners at the corners in the top of the 6th with 2 down. Mitch Voit did a commendable job in his 1st U of M start ever but just ran out of gas.
IU managed two more runs in top of 6th. Michigan up 7-3 heading to the bottom of the inning.
