Memorial Day Weekend (here for the) posbang thread
I've got daddy duty all day Saturday with our four month old. Then I'm contemplating brewing a UofM ale using flaked maize and Victory Malt in an ESB or cream ale. Any input from other brewers?
Wow. Are those things you mentioned real?
BBQ's and walking in a Memorial Day parade with my fellow Veterans.
You too, MGOTyrone.
@OP So what your telling me is that it isn't freezing yet, I am good with that.
I'm spending the weekend living out of a hotel room in Albuquerque. At least the weather is great.
hello to Mr. White and Jessie for me.
Going to time myself and see how quickly I can black out on Budweiser.
Today I have a half day at work so I'm outta here in 45 minutes. I'll be home on my xbox this afternoon shooting zombies in L4D or L4D2, if anyone wants to join me my xbox live account is the same as my MGoUsername, MikeCohodes.
This afternoon happyhour hitting up a bar with my wife and her coworkers, she's a school counselor and the staff is getting together for a celebration of the end of the year.
Saturday or Sunday we're going to ditch our mgobaby with my wife's parents and go to the movies to catch the new Star Trek.
Monday I'll fire up the grill for the first time this year despite the cold and grill some steaks, wash it down with some Two Brothers Dog Days now that their summer ale is back, and I'll write up a review of Star Trek for my blog.
Thanks to all who have served or have a relative who have served in our armed forces, thank you for your sacrifices that allow us to have the freedoms we have. Have a great and safe Memorial Day weekend everyone!
Camping out all weekend at the track and heading to the 500 on Sunday. I'm excited for beer and white trash boobies!!!
Graffiti Junktion is a good spot to catch games. There are a couple locations around town, but the one in Thorton Park (downtown) is the best. Harry Buffalo downtown is another good place.
Grad School crap for me. Enjoy your coolers and grills gents but remember, "safety first then teamwork."
Bad News? It's because I am being furloughed. Here's a gif anyway.
Sorry to hear that, I got laid off back in December. I feel lucky to have found a job fairly quickly.
It may be the off season but these threads are tired as fuck.
That would assume you get a "buzz" from adding to a thread on the internet?

That surrounds a community garden project in Detroit on Sunday.
I just don't understand this region (Cleveland area) weather-wise. As soon as we thought that shit weather was over, it's back down to windy, rainy, and cold. I HATE the weather here.
I hope all my fellow wolverine fans have a great long weekend. Everybody be sure to drink too much and sleep too little. Have a good one!
Busy weekend for me. Someone's rehearsal dinner tonight, wedding tomorrow (then watching the recording of the Red Wings after that), parent's annual big cookout Sunday, Fast & Furious 6 on Monday.
After work heading to the homestead and mixing a large cocktail. Mow the lawn and take care of some other medium sized tasks. Then, I will take it easy in preparation for bangin' weekend of little responsibility and great debauchery. First, I will chill with a movie this evening, but have not picked one out yet. I want a new release that is action/thriller style. Any suggestions?
Heading up to the cottage with the whole gang. Cramming 20+ people in and setting up the docks and bringing out the boat. Weather will not deter me from a weekend ski. Is it just me or does Memorial Weekend often tease you with sub par weather Friday - Sunday and a nice day on Monday as you're heading home?
know man. How far up are you going? My parents are going to their cabin in Onaway this weekend and morning temps are literally going to be at or near freezing. Not trying to go Buzz Killington but jet skiing this weekend might be a dicey venture.
I have to work but Im ready for the Wings to close it up. That would make a great weekend
Got a wedding to go to Saturday in the foothills of the Smokies. Should be nice. Great weather today in Knoxville.
I was gonna start a Drinkin' All Day thread - it's definitely that kind of day as I have some chicken marinating since this morning waiting for the grill and some homework to do at a very leisurely pace. Which in turn has led me to take note of my alcohol stores and count up four bottles of Oberon and two near-empty bottles, one of Glenfiddich and one Sailor Jerry's. I will not need a personal stock tomorrow as it's a race day (sailing) and that means Other People's Beer. I'm thinking therefore that most of what I have left needs to disappear today so I have an excuse to replenish the supplies this weekend. Which leaves me with only one question: Which should I pour myself to kick-start the day: the scotch or the rum?
Going to the lake tomorrow, even though it will be cool outside and then golfing Sunday.
Grilling, garage sales, etc. Tonight I'll be playing Skyrim with my 8 yr old daughter . . . she made me promise her that she could do all the "killing".

Helping someone move...what did I get myself into?? There better be "Daddy Sodas" awaiting me at the end of this!!!
