I'll be honest, I had no idea who the kid was until you mentioned his name here. I saw the name and was like, who the heck is that? I'm not sure if anyone else is like that, so I figured I would make an informative post. For those who don't know, it turns out he is a basketball recruit.
A 6'11 200 lb PF/C from NC for the class of 2011. Ranked four stars by scout, #8 at his position.

Good to see John Beilein going after some big targets. Sounds like he would be a huge get if we could land him.

Webb said that both of his older brothers went to Duke. Duke has not yet offered, but even if they do Webb made it sound like Marshall isn't necessarily set on following his brothers.

I listened to that the other day, and Webb really made it seem like this kid is a rebel and wants to get away from his family. I'm not sure if Webb was stating how the kid actually felt or he was just stating a possibility. I'm going to go with the latter untill proven otherwise.

What does you being at Duke have anything to do with it? Are you buddies with Coach K? Otherwise, I'm not sure you're privy to anything the rest of us aren't, except to Duke students who are more likely to be unrealistically optimistic than overly informed.
