Lots of Michigan on BTN Tonight

Submitted by KinesiologyNerd on
I've seen people mentioning Big Ten Network's preview of the 2009 Wolverines, but there are two classic Michigan games being shown beforehand- 1. 2000 Orange Bowl Michigan vs. Alabama. 5-8pm 2. 1969 Michigan vs. OSU Bo's first border battle. 8-10pm

just a little bit that Bama would have made that extra point, so we could finish them off properly? Not that I was heartbroken, it was just an odd way to end such a great game.

Does BTN do any online streaming for stuff like this? I'd like to check out the practice video tonight, but won't be somewhere with BTN.

No streaming coverage yet. I've got a post being saved for a less busy day discussing their new streaming venture. Summary: BTN football and men's basketball games only will be streamed this year for a pay subscription. No word as to if they will keep the women's basketball games they streamed for free last year as a separate service. They have no plans for live coverage of any practices.

Those two are great games, but it seems like they (along with 1997 OSU and 2004 MSU) get aired 5-6 times a year. I'd like to see them vary up the selection a little. We've had a ton of classic victories over the years; they've got a lot to choose from. For instance, here are some games I'd really like to see again: 1986 Fiesta Bowl (Nebraska) 1986 Iowa 1986 ND 1989 Rose Bowl (USC) 1989 MSU 1989 OSU 1993 Rose Bowl (Washington) 1994 ND 1996 Colorado
