Let me know...

When the plane is in the air. Until then I am still going to be a nervous wreck. ESPN and their crappy reporting is still making me nervous. Sucks that they are the leading provider of sports information and my only source on television right now...

believe Jim would bitch slap his alma mater, his friends and former teammates?  If so, for what, another $1 million or more that would be taxed in CA to the point of irrelevance?  Get a grip man-relax, it's happening!!

There is no way the 49ers would let Harbaugh just leave like they did if he was going anywhere else but Michigan. He was under contract with them for another year, so they wouldn't just part ways without getting compensated if Harbaugh was staying in the NFL.

The Roger Goodell/Shield apologists on the self-proclaimed "worldwide leader" are demonstrating their philistine pig-ignorance for all to see by not understanding this truth.

Side question -- has anyone kept a list of the so-called "insider" columnists and commentators who said Jim Harbaugh would NEVER leave the NFL for college?  They need to be publicly humiliated.

Here's a start:

1. Colin Cowherd

2.Tim Kawakami

3. Adam Schefter

I know there are others.

But remember that the NFL practically owns ESPN. Ten years ago or so ESPN created an actual TV show called Play Makers about a fictional NFL team. It was a good show and did well rating wise. The NFL got ESPN to kill it after just one year because it addressed things like spousal abuse, drug use and homosexual players. You know, things that the front office felt would never happen in the NFL.

I am holding off full celebration until the presser out of full caution. But ESPN will be the last place to acknowledge Harbaugh to Michigan.

I have a feeling that some sort of contract/understanding was signed between JH and SF wherein he'd be sued if he didn't take the Michigan job. I'm not a lawyer, but I have to believe there'd be legal consequences in place if he went a different direction.

the ESPN headlines will read "Is Harbaugh on that plane? or did he change his mind?"

So, you won't feel relaxed until he's at the podium being introduced by Hackett or at the Bball game.

At this point, the only thing that makes me nervous about the general tenor and drift of ESPN reporting is that someone would let it continue unabated, without even so much as the interjection of substance. That's the scary thing about it, in my opinion. As for this situation, I think we're at "sit back and smoke if you've got 'em" now.
