Kiper says Martin is UM's top pro prospect
Kiper says Mike Martin is our top pro prospect, which only covers draft eligible players. I guess I can't think of anyone else who would be drafted higher than Martin. I guess he finally realized Ezeh hasn't played great yet. Didn't he also used to have Schilling pretty high?

Todd thinks Jevan Snead will play very well for Rich Rodriguez this year, and is a lock to be picked first overall.

Wrong, this year it's Jake Locker.

Jimmy Clausen. He's so good, he'll be 1st overall 5 out of the next 7 draft classes!

I think Troy Woolfolk could actually get a shot. We'll have to see later on in the season. I mean, these draft analysts get so much stuff wrong between season's end and the draft that I'm not even going to consider their analysis before the season starts.

These are the same experts that said Warren would end up going somewhere in the first 3 rounds. I feel almost certain Martin is going to stick around for his senior year and up being the defensive captain.

is the best player in '05 draft. rrrrrrright. Matt Millen probably take draft advice from Kiper since it's clearly working for the Lions.

I'm ripping this off shockfx, but I'm willing to bet that Woolfolk fares better than Warren.

i suspect woolfolk suffers the same fate this year as warren did last year, getting "burned" because they are trying to use him to cover half the field

I was talking about in the draft. Warren didn't get drafted because Zoltan benched more than him, and there was an OL that ran a faster 40. I'm not exagerrating.

Martin is prrobably the best guy on the roster in terms of having NFL-quality measurables and the hype trail about his play going into the season. I would imagine by the end of the season, Woolfolk, Molk, Schilling and Martin will be on mock draft sheets. I really think Molk especially with his increased size could end up being the #1 center by the time the draft rolls around.

Molk will probably not go ahead of Martin but I expect hime to be a mid-round steal for some team. Both Molk and Martin should be excellent pro's.
Does anyone have Kiper"s analysis on the Coner?
August 11th, 2010 at 7:19 PM ^
Molk probably wouldn't get drafted ahead of Martin if both have successful years, b/c centers just aren't drafted high. But being the #1 center guarantees you a NFL job whereas being the #7-15 DL will get you drafted but harder to get playing time initially.

As of now no major labels want to take the risk of picking up Coner, he'll remain underground for now and might become a sleeper pick for best new rapper at some point.

Till they're done with their senior years. We can't afford any good player losses.

I hope Martin doesnt read in to this early draft talk, this time last year Kiper had Warren going in the top 15 and look how that turned out.

Will have a monster year and be a surprise late first-rounder..
