My first reaction to reading how fucked they were about Forcier's injury was that I hope DRob starts, hangs 200 yards and s couple of TD's rushing on them, and they have to explain how a second-string QB made them look like a D-2 team. I don't hate MSU, but I certainly don't like their fans very much. I haven't seen such douchery since being forced to watch a soap opera by an old GF and sitting through an FDS commercial.

Coming from out of state, I find MSU hilarious. The amount of hatred they have for Michigan is just down right sad. Few Sparties realize how few non-sports-fans and non-Michiganders even recognize that MSU is a school. "Oh you mean Michigan right? Wait, there is a place called Michigan State?" Now I'd fully expect most Big Ten fans to be well aware of the existence of the school, but you really would be surprised at the number of people in Illinois alone that have absolutely no clue what this Michigan State is. That doesn't mean I don't find the entire idea hilarious.

My hate has strictly been reserved for the buckeyes. Sparty just cannot fire me up, I find humor in their antics. Just look at that post, classic couch burning fun. But, I've been known to freak out and throw my gum at the television on Saturday once in a while though. Hopefully not this weekend.

I guess I am just getting old. I don’t hate the MSU team or the fans. The team is a bunch of young men trying to either make it to the next level, pay for there education or because they love the game. I can’t fault any of those reasons. As far as some of their fans...They are entitled to say what they want. If that’s what they need to do to get them through their day...I think that is sad. From my stand point, hating anyone takes way too much energy on my part. I would rather use that same energy to cheer on my team to win.
