Harbaugh Appreciation thread

Submitted by ThatGuyCeci on

Well ladies and gentlemen, today it was revealed that some of the greatest of Michigan Men are actually regulars on the blog.. In the event they actually read some of the threads on here, I thought it would be a cool idea to start an appreciation thread thanking them for their service to the greatest University in the world, and for just being all around awesome human beings.

So, here goes:

To Jim, Jack, Jay, Jon Falk, and all of the other great Michigan Men out there, thank you for all the happiness you have brought us fans. It was only a short time ago the program was suffering through the darkest of times.  I was in Dallas this year for the Florida game and I have never in my lifetime seen the Michigan fanbase as energetic and full of life as I did that day.  It is because of the work of great men like yourselves that we owe all the credit. Thank you and Go Blue.

You are doing a phenomenal job coaching a very young team. Keep striving to make today better than yesterday and tomorrow better than today with an EUTM. Thank you for teaching us all life lessons almost every day. It is truly great to be a Michigan Wolverine!

[stares] Ok. I will oblige. Happy to be a Michigan fan and enjoying what Harbaugh has done in the last few years and looking forward to this year and the future.

i appreciate OP's mom. seriously, coach doesnt need us kissing his ass, nor does he care what we think. but, regardless, I am glad he is our coach.

After the last 2 regimes I appreciate everything Harbaugh's done so far. Well there is the QB issue at hand but we're winning games... for now.

highlighting the incompetence of UM football at an institutional level - picture of shane morris not walking on his own strength and briefly resting his head on one of his linemen. That was the lowest point in my 37 years as a Michigan fan. Then to have him back in two plays later with the commentator in real time expressing the horror of what UM did to one of its players.

I would rather watch the 2007 Ap State block field goal on repeat for a  year than relive the pain of 2014.

The new coach is why I am back as a fan, proud again to be an Alum, and I have faith that we are in the dawn of a 20+ year error of Michigan dominance on and off of the field.

Go Blue and God Bless the Harbauhs.

I hope Jim coaches for you guys until he cant see anymore. Jay will take the job maybe one day and Jim will always be around. Best coach in college football and right at the top in the NFL. Hands down and bar none. Now he just needs the championships. Let's all do our best parts as fans to make that happen!

Coach Harbaugh is the epitome of a head football coach and we are damn lucky to have him in Ann Arbor.

He coaches his men up and rarely disparages them publicly.

He has a deep reservoir of football knowledge and psychology to draw upon.  Can relate to young men and is a great teacher and motivator. Great ambassador of the game and lover of life.  Coach can get salty from time to time...that's OK....he's just thinking about the next opponent and how the TEAM can get better.

It is great to be a Michigan Wolverine.

How is this thread not 500+ comments long?  Thankful every day that Jim Harbaugh is our coach, and for the other coaches as well.  This is an awesome staff.

How much trouble we'd be in right now if we hadn't secured Jim Harbaugh as our coach.

The Big Ten is improving by leaps and bounds and the previous two coaching regimes would have been left by the wayside if either was still here.

Jim has shown through his coaching and recruiting that Michigan will always be a contender and he does everything the right way. Bo would be very proud and so should we all.
