It's graduation day for my seniors. I have purposefully finagled the job of wrangling the first two rows of students in the hallways of USA Hockey Arena before they go out so I can fist bump (or hug upon request) my half of the alphabet so I'm the last person they see as they go out. I always enjoy this day.

I wish i could be happy, but i just watched Lord of the Rings: Return of the King last night for the first time and can't get over the fact that Frodo couldn't throw the ring away.

One bang closer to kickoff! Wife and son running rock-n-roll half marathon and 5k, respectively, this weekend and I’ll be hopping from point to point along the route for high fives and encouragement. Proud of them both.
