Thing that scares me is he hasn't played football in 2+ years right?

He missed his entire senior year of high school ball as well.

He looks good, looks strong, apparently is running well.   But will he be able to take the wear and tear after 2 years of rehabbing?

I can't dig it up now. But there is an increasing amount of research showing that what we think of and term "hamstring strains" are actually not anything like other "muscle strains", in that the hamstring seems to scar and lay down additional scar tissue at an inordinate amount compared with other "muscular strains".

This would explain why there's the well-known concept of professional athletes (football players, rugby, ESPECIALLY track athletes) who seem to have their entire careers plagued by hamstring injuries.

I hope this isn't the case with Drake. I really would love to see him take the field and see what he can do. The flip side is, Tolbert, the new S&C guy from Stanford is an absolute GENIUS when it comes to strength and conditioning and injury prevention.

As always, only time will tell.....
