Wait Harbaugh is a fluffer Wait, Harbaugh is a fluffer for ESPN?
I have to say as an OSU I have to say as an OSU hardcore fan, major hat tip to this. Figured it would happen with the Jordan brand but it will be a big hit all around when this happens.
Adversity:
A couple players
Adversity: A couple players in minor legal trouble (JT, Hyde) Players suspended for VT game opener (Bosa, Marshall, etc) Player dies of self inflicted gunshot wound (RIP Karageorge) Multiple QB injuries (thanks for that) HIGH stakes games constantly, I know they all are but when you have national title and big ten championship hopes its a different level. Michigan will see that this year
He's a winner. Pure and He's a winner. Pure and simple. I hope for him and Harbaugh to both stay. That's what the rivalry deserves.
Neither will Michigan Neither will Michigan
Yeah about that... Michigan Yeah about that... Michigan needs to win at least a divisional title before that even becomes close to being true. Just so you know: Iowa won one already before Michigan did. Then an actual playoff appearance would be possible.
That would be relevant if That would be relevant if they coached in the NFL still?
Iowa won a division Iowa won a division championship before Michigan.
Michigan is a little late to Michigan is a little late to this whole playoff thing. If they even make it this year.
Only that many days until Only that many days until Michigans easy schedule starts.
The first of many. Just wait. The first of many. Just wait. Also kinda creepy way to approach a kid. Underage most likely. So yeah.....
All the headlines would read: All the headlines would read: Michigan running from OSU and Meyer.
Msu will take two old dirty Msu will take two old dirty pennies from between the seats as contract payment if it means they can have the success over UM they have been experiencing.
Every year: this is Every year: this is Michigan's year to "return". It's been how long since a championship of any kind? I'll even count a divisional.
If start the rivalry from If start the rivalry from that point OSU has a winning record vs Michigan. So OSU has won most when it really mattered I guess?
That's probably what you That's probably what you thought was going to happen in 2015. It's ok. Urban will maybe be gentle this year.
He is flattering him the same He is flattering him the same way he did that Saturday in November. 42-13.
Nations best DL and Nations best DL and secondary? That might be a little off. Very good and experienced. Not nations best.
Pretty far back you had to go Pretty far back you had to go to get a Michigan win over osu. Beware of JT. He is coming for that same defense that was fielded last year.
I will bet any amount of I will bet any amount of money that this does not happen. Peppers, athletic but hasn't proven that much yet.
A ton? A ton?
Just as a heads up he was Just as a heads up he was never a starter. He played in a few games, mostly ST work and was slated to be behind Hill, Sprinkle, Jones, and possibly Hamilton.
Don't forget about Victor Don't forget about Victor pledging earlier in the day to the Bucks. Top flight WR. 12 star Monday.
On paper yes but those wins On paper yes but those wins did happen.
How can you say that Michigan How can you say that Michigan is a better landing spot in terms of competing for a national championship. Michigan hasn't won a big bowl game since VT, a B1G championship in I don't know how long, beat up by rivals, and hasn't won a national title since its .5 title in 97. Which is almost 20 years ago just FYI.
Yes a lot of players are Yes a lot of players are leaving early but it's because of player development they are leaving. They were molded and put into position to be drafted early. It's because of this player development that there will be no drop off. Meyer now has only his recruited players and they have all beEn top 5 recruiting classes. Also anytime you return a JT Barrett (QB of the year in 14) you will be a contender. I think this offseason exodus for OSU will continue in cycles every couple of years. Price to pay for being Dominant.
Yeah that's why I come over Yeah that's why I come over here to see: "woo! Come to UM and you will get to the NFL! We have former NFL coaches!" Then no Michigan player drafted in 2016 and OSU sets the NFL draft record from a single school.
Meyer has had a few highly Meyer has had a few highly ranked classes in a row along with this possible number 1 class this year. That should provide us with a few less bumps for a young team. Not to mention the QB (the most important position in football) coming back who has had some success.
I will give you that. You I will give you that. You guys demolished Florida which had a mean D so it is impressive. I guess I was referring to top 10 games. Regardless. 10 wins in Hbaugh year one is a good start don't get me wrong. He had to change the mental aspect of the program it sounds like
Ohio state is the winningest Ohio state is the winningest program in the past 100 years and have owned Michigan the past 15 years. Urban Meyer is 50-4 at OSU (not to mention the big ten championship and national Championship). OSU has won 2 national titles in the 2000s. Michigan has .5 of a title dating back to 97 and the other ones are way earlier than that. I don't think you know elite when you see it. 2016 will have a basically brand new team that is going to pick up right where this years team left off. Also when was the last time Michigan beat an elite team? And don't tell me that 19th ranked offenseless Florida is one. I can't think of one but I'll wait for you to come up with one from years ago. Go ahead I'll wait even though I know Michigan hasn't won a top 10 game in years and you were just writing off OSU winning 3 top 10 games in a row last year. In case you missed it we also notched another top 10 win yesterday.
And would continue Michigan's And would continue Michigan's dabbling in the college football "free agency" (sketchy) to remain competitive.
Careful what you say. When Careful what you say. When OSU lost Herman it had an effect even with all that talent. Losing Durkin would be the same thing I believe. The D is Ichigan's highest performing unit. Remember Harbaugh is an offensive guy.
I'm glad you like the Woody I'm glad you like the Woody take down because that is exactly how Harbaugh is going to go out. Something along those lines.
Not going to happen. It's Not going to happen. It's nice to day dream though.
Also if UH gets a P5 invite Also if UH gets a P5 invite he gets 5M just like that. Also 1M for a NY6 Bowl appearance
Haha this is great. U of M Haha this is great. U of M relying on the highly questionable college "free agency" to stay relevant.
Yeah there's some incorrect Yeah there's some incorrect numbers in that formula
Pretty sure that by the book Pretty sure that by the book he wasn't required to even give him one game. On top of that he left it open ended to Meyer to decide if he wanted him suspended further. Nice try though.
Does it matter? Does it matter?
Wasn't there a Glasglow that Wasn't there a Glasglow that got hit with one of these and saw no punishment?
He does have an insane sense He does have an insane sense of himself and the ball when in the air. Pretty good starting point for a wide Receiver.
Really excited to see Michael Really excited to see Michael Thomas go against him. Two future early round draft picks.
You don't comment on 11w? 11w You don't comment on 11w? 11w is a paradise and has a lot of good people involved. You aren't able to Get away with nearly as much on 11w as you are on this site
Except for the part where it Except for the part where it took Meyer 2 full years to lose 2 games and he has only lost 3 games since taking over. Pretty sweet. M will probably have 3 losses this year if not more.
He announced that he is

He announced that he is enrolling early at The Ohio State University

Actually it is officially Actually it is officially
Has never happened. Has never happened.
Hyde and Elliot. Hyde and Elliot.
Props for sure. But what big Props for sure. But what big receivers/passing offenses has Michigan faced this year? Utah? BYU? Oregon State? UNLV?
Ohio State 2011 - 6-7
