Is it basketball season yet!? Cause boy am I ready! I don't know why but man I am crazy hyped to see what coach Howard is gonna do with the team. Maybe it's just "shiny new" syndrome, but whatever it is I've got a serious case of it lol

I'm with you. I love college football but college basketball has always been number one for me. I love the grind of the season and March madness speaks for itself. I have no idea what this team will look like by the time the season is over, but I can't wait to see what Howard brings to the table.

Stoked for basketball season as well. Just love Juwan and his passion for the U and for being a great mentor to kids. I know people are down on Harbaugh for not being successful by some definitions, but this Howard coaching decision is exciting to me for the same reasons the Harbaugh one was/is; guys that grew up in the program, have a love and respect for maize and blue, and want to work hard and help get kids through college with a mentor and role model, and develop their character and push academics.
For all the complaining around here about not going undefeated or winning championships etc, in the long run I am really happy to see coaches that push family and academics and teamwork on the student athletes. When I reflect on a sports program that didn’t perform the way we wished and hoped, this is always the saving grace for me. Great coaches at a great university with sound moral construct and a desire to build character and teach these kids how to attack life
