CFB Risk Day 31 - Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
CliffsNotes Update
If you identify as a rogue, head over to CFB Risk and attack any of the OSU (gray) or A&M (dark red) territories. If you perfer an order aligned with Michigan’s current battle plan before you attack/defend, go to Michigan Risk Central Command.
Not Your Father's Michigan CFB Risk Propaganda

This Aggie aggression will not stand, man! The Michigan Rogue Force abides.

The “roll” happens at 10:30pm ET each night except Sundays. We’re on turn #31 and the game ends with the 45th turn. You gain more power in the form of stars if you play every day.

When will this be over? Is there a set date/estimated time frame?

Lol, it’s A&M and it won’t be close.

They weren't even the strongest team. They were the team with the fewest strong enemies.
February 26th, 2023 at 12:24 PM ^
And fewer bungling generals.
You didn't see A&M making alliances with say, Texas, to start with.
Michigan has a better than 2:1 ratio of stars than TAMU.

Fear not, Jimbo will find a way to blow it.
February 25th, 2023 at 5:58 PM ^
Don't worry, all their 5 stars will be transferring soon.

As one who doesn’t fully understand risk and is just mindlessly doing their daily orders, can someone explain to me how or why A&M got into this dominating position?
February 25th, 2023 at 6:18 PM ^
Wisconsin, OSU and Michigan spent their time fighting each other. Michigan tried to stop A&M but Wisconsin made it their mission to stop Michigan. No one else even bothered to attack A&M. GT and OSU also didn't fight each other much. It was mostly every team deciding they would rather lose and pull down Michigan then bother to try to win.

They win all their rolls while we loses our rolls same as GT wins their rolls with a 150 players total. The game is rigged

GT benefitted from both Tennessee and Alabama to their west. Both those teams pretty much just protected their territory, but provided a buffer between GT and tAm. Also helped that OSU to their north only really cared about attacking Michigan.

lulz
I mean it really isn't funny. But how many real people/armed forces have asked this exact question (well, replacing Risk with war and A&M with "insert army")?
February 25th, 2023 at 8:14 PM ^
There was two turns where we thought we had a Non Aggression Pact with them and they took full advantage of it. We got bamboozled.
Before all that they were surrounded by smaller teams and were able to slowly grow without much resistance.
February 25th, 2023 at 10:32 PM ^
A few turns ago, we had a strong position to gut their territory. They cut a deal with M’s leadership to pursue OSU while allowing Michigan key positions in the south. They breached the deal and cleared out our southern positions.

And because the mindless doing daily orders gets boringgggg so people (myself included) just stop.

Note: I HIGHLY recommend taking a territory from assignment! We need ALL the firepower they can get! However of you are Discord and will NOT take an order. Than you should contact Kewaga on Discord. We're trying to coordinate the rouges attack at TAMU to break up thier regions.

Right movie, wrong quote.

Great roll tonight. About time. Declining player count is concerning
February 25th, 2023 at 10:49 PM ^
Second that. I figured the good guys were royally f#ck*d after the last few rolls. But tonight gives me the utterly irrational impression that there's at least the chance of finishing second.

Regarding the ice storm, you would have thought bad weather would have driven the Buckeyes from southeast Michigan. I mean, it worked once recently.

Rolls (and strategy) better change soon or we'll all be living in Nunavut.

You are a prophet!

The strategy shift is paying off. We are back in second place. We have opened up a number of ways to begin attacking TAMU. OSU is reeling.
If you want to do your own thing, go for it! Just make a move and play! Number of players matters. A lot.
