Even the most accomplished people can be idiots. Engineering graduates are no exception, so I really don't give a shit that you graduated from Michigan's engineering program. I know many, many people that did the same. Some of them are very bright, but they can also display tremendous amounts of idiocy, particularly when it comes to social interaction and mores. Take, for example, self-righteousness and arrogance, and believing such things are warranted.
Self-respect, confidence, and pride in your accomplishments may be warranted. Arrogance and self-righteousness is not. Look up the definition of arrogance. It is not a good thing.

People were bashing people who thought that the Ban on the liveblog was utter stupidity.. And I just wanted to remind them that we had a liveblog for Iowa.. (who sucks) and we lost.. We don't have one for Minne and we win.... We haven't had one all year for any big games and once we start having them the team starts losing a ton..
Maybe I'm stupid for believing in "doing your part" for the team.. You probably also like to not yell at games because hell what are you doing to help your team... If I have to wear the same clothes for Michigan to win games so be it.. If I have to be sober at football games I'll do it. I'll do everything in my power to help Michigan win and even if it is just stupid "Psychological" reasons I'd rather do that and have peace of mind then have a Live Blog just for Live blogs sake...

You went beyond just reminding people of any correlation between the liveblogs and the losses. You wanted to gloat. You wanted to revel in your rightness. You wanted those who disagreed, however vehemently, to be humiliated for being "wrong" and to eat crow. That's what I have a problem with.
