Any word on the spring's first scrimmage? Qbs?
I read a little bit about the defensive guys stepping up (particularly Roh, Demens,Cam Gordon and Sagesse) in saturday's scrimmage. Any word on the offense? QB? RBS? I know Shoelace had a nice run but other than that I haven't heard any specific details about the offense and how they've looked. Forgive me if I've missed something...but I feel like Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller. Anyone...anyone?
Seems like there has been relatively little content available about Spring practices this year. Last year there was a ton of information, photos, videos, etc. This year, not so much...
There wasn't that much last spring. There was tons of stuff in the fall, however.
I feel like Rivals had more practice videos and pictures at this point last year.
Try and be open and not hold anything back and see where that got them. Maybe Fort Schembechler is creeping back into the U of M.
It's interesting that the press conferences are different now as well. There is less Rod on the practice field, and Rod at the podium, and more Rod seated at a table. Can't help but think David Brandon has implemented some PR changes, maybe brought in a consultant, to work on fixing some of the Freep and Birket issues.
Of course Rich still hasn't gotten to the Lloyd format, where he says what he's gonna say at the beginning, and then stares down the reporters for the rest of the time, unless they ask nice questions.
They did. Even though Tim thinks otherwise.
I haven't heard anything either, but I posted a similar question 3 hours ago and it was taken down for some reason....yet somehow the "Horford to Mich? post stays. I must be missing something.
I heard from a reliable source that Tate, Denard, and Devin all played some at QB.
is showing pretty good speed.
You two get a "Zing!"
If you didn't read this thread yet, there is some decent info there.

That thread gets my vote for the most on topic thread to be labeled off topic in Mgoblog history.
and in the words of The Wayans Bros....hated it! Lol
Also, in response to your avatar...mmm mmm bitch, drink my beer & you'll be fuckin' fat bitches in no time!
This is kinda off topic but are the practices open to the public???? Can anyone go and watch the team practice??
...you cannot.

Anyone else is welcome any time. In fact, it's encouraged. Sometimes if you get there early enough they'll let you take snaps with the second team.
You can't seem to click a single M football-related link this spring without hearing someone rave about Cam Gordon. This is a great thing since he has 4 years of eligibility left. I hope he shines.
I just hope he doesn't turn out to be another Grady Brooks.
(old Tom Beaver hype reference)
Anyone know if the game will be televised? ESPN? ESPNU?
The Big Ten Network will air it.
Big Ten Network
I think he's in for a monster year. And I really hope I'm right.
I wish their would be more, I've been looking all over the place for information.
