He was always enamored with UNC so not too surprising this ended up this way once they decided to prioritize him. Hopefully we can wrap up Kante soon

Ah well, on to the next recruit.
I still don't have a great read on Davis as a coach - he had a great first year but Kevin Ollie won a title in his second year at UConn and like Davis walked into a decent amount of talent and had an unexpectedly good year but struggled to replicate. UNC is probably better set up to maintain their momentum but they also went from okay-to-super-hot to end the year and sometimes that doesn't translate.
