2012 Recruit Senior Year Highlights--Wow!
I recently watched the senior year highlight films of some of the incoming recruits. There were a number that exceeded my expectations relative to what I'd seen in their junior year highlight films and following the board comments for a year.
I was very impressed with the ability of both Funchess (reminds me of Shannon Sharpe) and Chesson's ability to make people miss after the catch, and Chesson looked fast on the field to go along with his track exploits.
I know I shouldn't be surprised by Kyle Kalis' ability, but I can't imagine an OL looking more college ready than Kyle Kalis. I expect he'll be the first non-center lineman off the bench in the fall.
I was also positively impressed by Mario Ojemudia. I expected him to look awesome but lacking in size. He looked awesome, but didn't look small to me. Given Beyer and Clark, he likely still redshirts, but I expect him to be a star down the road.
I was very impressed by Terry Richardson and Royce Jenkins-Stone. They look like awesome athletes who will grow into dominant players down the line.

Refuses to stop blocking until his man is on the ground. I love it.
Amazing to me how big these recruits are. Players used to graduate COLLEGE lucky to be these guys' sizes. Now, it seems like every 17 year I old I hear about is 6'4, 225. I guess it is just the new emphasis on weight training and superior nutrition compared to the old days (and I'm not talking about the leather helmet old days, Ha-Ha-Ha). I'm excited for this new class.

no need to be snarky with the older folks. jesus.
Yeah. Plus, even Jesus signs his posts, apparently.
Ojemudia often appears slow off the ball, but man, does he make up for it in pursuit speed and shedding blocks... the guy is like a ball-seeking missle.
seeing jehu chesson track stats,i think we can all say that he has a chance to be a star at MICHIGAN!
Ah yes, a subscriber to the Al Davis school of football metrics. Speed directly correlates to stardom and championships...
(Not a knock on Jehu).

Saying that an incoming recruit has a chance to be a star in a thread that breeds excitement is hardly a reason to neg a poster. chill out and be optimistic for once
Do your research bub, I didn't neg him, I don't have enough "points" to do that. I may be new to this internet thing, but I ain't stupid. It was just a little lighthearted jab amongst friends. We're all friends here, aren't we? Aren't we?!

Ideally, Herm, we would all be friends here. Unfortunately, there is a small but very "vocal" minority here of people who are very unhappy, object just for the sake of objection, and neg just for the sake of negging. There are also a few who believe that their opinions are more "important" or "accurate" than those of others. In other words, you either have to have a thick skin, or just submit your comment and go on to the next thread.
I choose the latter so as not to test the thickness of my skin. You may end up choosing the former. Good luck whatever the case.
Shut up, Tater. Everything you've ever said is 100% wrong, and I hate you for it. You're cooking is subpar, and I think your flower arrangments are lazy and obvious.
It's "your". Dumbass!
God, did I ever deserve that.
Once upon a time, there was a man who ran track at Michigan. He had dreadlocks, a billion-dollar smile, and never tied his shoes. He was a playmaker
At the risk of sounding too much like a fairy tale, yes, I'm excited for Chesson's speed. If he can be half the playmaker that Denard is, we'll be in good shape.
Funchess looks like he may be the biggest sleeper in this class. Hoke recruited him as a TE right?
Seems like a tall big bodied pass catcher, kind of in the Marques Colston mold. He could create some real mismatches in coverage. I just hope he's able to be at least a decent blocker.
We just need a TE period. So thin at that position that it appears we'll have to take whatever we can get. Hopefully he turns out to be quite a stud.
Here's hoping he creates more real mismatches than mustaches, because it'd be weird if a person had more than one real mustache.
