Results of Running Back Survey

A couple weeks back I did a survey about our running backs.    I have been remiss in sharing the results.

Between both the results and comments on the thread, there seemed to be a general feeling that the players in the running back room are one of the strengths of the team.    There was however concern that they would not live up to their potential because of things like: play-calling, running back rotation and/or the strength of other position groups, most notably offensive line.

There seemed to be a feeling that Hassan Haskins gave the running backs a high floor and that Donovan Edwards and to a lesser extent, Blake Corum provided hope that floor could be exceeded.

Based on the results, I am going to try another one for wide receivers.    I think I have figured out how to provide real time results so hopefully that will be an improvement    Here is a link to the original survey and I think you can now see the results.

My biggest problem with our running game isn't with the talent. We seem to not be able to give any running back more than about 10 carries a game. Just about the time someone gets hot, we substitute or they never touch the ball again. Case in point - I really thought ZC would be our go to guy after his performance vs Alabama in the bowl game two years ago. He got into a rhythm and was running well. Start of the next year and he disappears?
