miami deserved that hit! Take a seat BITCH!!!! fuck it I would have went for the head and took him out. If I was playing hockey I would have gone dirty at this point.

.....I have been kicked out of a few hockey games for dirty hits...

Copy Wisconsin too.  Nice one.  Only make sure you're awkward though.  Don't jump, just wave your arms in tandem...there...now you got it.

We need to close out.  We played a dominant first 10 minutes of the third, then fall apart.  Forget it, another game tomorrow.  I'm getting a beer.

Now to collect all of the items thrown in the direction of the TV.  This team is extremely hard to watch, sometimes, especially when the officiating is ridiculously against us.

that was utter shit. We outplayed them for sure.

I doubt anyone saw this, and it was probably just me or my tv set... but early in the game, 1st or second period, their goalie made a huge toe save to keep them in the game. The play-by-play guys went nuts over it. But they never showed a replay.

I'm not getting conspiracy theorist here, but I could SWEAR his foot was in the goal when the puck bounced off it. It looked on my tv like there was a few inches of ice between his toe and the crease, and that would mean the puck went in. Not seeing a replay made it a lot harder to know if I'm just crazy or not

Anyone else see it?

Edit: interesting note: the graphic was very telling that showed NTM had about half of their shots on powerplays. Says something about our discipline and our affinity to getting screwed by poor calls. (I mean really, would Scooter haul someone down when WE had the puck? That was a hook on their guy for sure, he just tripped over his reeling body).

deserved to win that game.  7 penalties against, one (Wohlberg) that should have been much harsher, 5 total that were decent calls, those 5 killed.  Two calls that were not good, at all and Miami converts.  Then one defensive breakdown (one of very few by Michigan in the game) and game Miami.  Five is too many penalties regardless, but they outplayed Miami for a good portion of that game.  Sad to have a perfectly good hockey game decided by the refs.  The good news is, now the guys should be good and mad and ready to take it to Miami even more tomorrow to salvage the split that I would be happy with.  Though I will be interested to see what Red says about the officiating, he wasn't happy when he was interviewed mid-game.

2 other notes:

1.  Our players that are supposed to score, really have got to learn to score, especially when they're given opporunities.  I was pretty hard on the forwards the last couple games for not creating opportunities, tonight they created, they just didn't finish.  Which is another significant reason why we lost this game

2.  Chad's defense hasn't been great lately, the GWG against State at the Joe was on him and I don't remember if Miami's GWG tongiht was on him, but he definitely made a couple really dumb decisions that if they didn't lead to goals/opportunities, really easily could have.

(OK, I lied) 3.  PATERYN!!!  He was very, very good tonight.  And Bennett is starting to play pretty well too.  But Pateryn was sensational most of the night, I thought.  That whole third line/d-pairing combo, was good, I thought, I really like the move of Brown to that line, I said before the game that I'd prefer to see him and Lynch switch it up.  It paid off for Brown, I thought.  For Lynch... not so much, he made several pretty poor defensive plays again tonight.  I get not scoring, but he has GOT to start looking like he knows what he's doing, at least defensively, when he's on the ice.

Pateryn was AMAZING, and he saved our asses with that diving poke check. However, the GWG was actually a lot of his fault, and a lot of their player (can't remember which) pulling a sweet move. Pateryn came out to challenge, but sort of weakly threw his body instead of engaging a full hit. He overcommitted too late, and the guy spun around him, passed in front, bam, goal.

Second, completely agree about the people who SHOULD be scoring. Louie had a complete breakaway chance, had Reichard flailing, and tried to stuff it five-hole (and got unlucky, the goalie was saved there that it didn't slide through). However, if he waited a TINY split second longer, the entire top left of the net opened up as Reichard scrambled to get his pad down. All he needed to do was roof it, and that's a goal. He had him beat, he just guessed wrong, but that's something a pure goal machine should be doing. He hardly made a move.

[note: he was being slightly hooked, so that might have done it, but I don't think the guy was close enough to alter him that much]

Update

Next week Hockey should be streamed

he's testing something out so if things all work this could be ongoing for michigan hockey for the rest of the season for next weeks games vs OSU on BTN !

a small donation ( like a buck) would be nice to help offset equipment costs.

He's gonna try and get this going for the last 5-8 weeks of hockey season

figure this will be nice for those who can't watch normally as well as myself

if all works would be great.

gonna try and do this for the next couple weeks

he doesnt get fsd, but any games on btn or cbs college sports should be handled

Possible test run sunday vs penn state in b ball

Thanks
