Wouldn't say Villanova got ripped. They only lost by 3 in a game that was very close.

You use ripped to describe the game outcome, when after losing I am sure it became the night's goal.

You clearly do not know much about sports reporting. The only acceptable way to describe a win is with an elaborate or obscure verb. A statement of facts without hyperbole is the dumbest thing in the world.

OSU absolutely escaped in Evanston. Considering some of the close calls they've had so far this year, I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose a couple of games before the tournament.

Nova and UConn lost at home, but to since the Big East is so deep, they were hardly a surprise. I am shocked any Big East teams are ranked in the top ten (except Pitt) they just beat each other up each week.
