Still feeling great about the win. Yes, we're not a great team and MSU isn't a great team but it was far too long since we won at that place.
January 25, 1997 was the last time we won there. And I still remember watching that game on TV. Sparty wasn't much of a test. We had a comfortable double digit lead for the majority of the game. Every time Tractor Traylor went to the line to shoot freethrows, the Spartan crowd taunted him with chants of "Faaaat boy. Faaaat boy." In the end, we won 74-61.
The very next week, we played Sparty at Crisler and pounded Izzo's squad 85-65. That made Izzo 0-4 against us. God, that feels like forever ago.
