RichRod gets a gig with CBS Sports
I know we're only supposed to talk about coaches who are coaching for Michigan but I thought this was interesting:

take a year off, look at a lot of football games for pay with little responsibility, and keep an eye out for your next job.

his take on Michigan's 2011 recruiting class.

He can take credit for Kellen Jones, for one.

Hope he finds success wherever he goes.

I usually do not root for coaches that left my favorite teams in shambles (i.e. Rod Marinelli). But I feel like he never got a fair chance, even though I think he had to go. I do wish him luck wherever he goes next, just hope he does not do it against us.

From what everyone has said he was the nicest guy in the world and is one hell of a coach - it feels to me like he just got a bad shake with us. I will forever cheer for his teams (unless they're playing Michigan).

I'm glad that many around here now share my unending disdain for Greg Robinson.
I hope he craters a Burger King next.

Heh... my next door neighbor is from Missouri, and is a big Kansas City Chiefs fan. The day after GERG was announced as the new DC, he told me about Robinson's tenure there under Vermeil, and that he was going to be a disaster for RR. How right he was.

Great to hear!! He'll take the year off and then find a good gig somewhere. Good luck to coach!

I think he'll be coaching this year. Something is telling me Rhett's Pop Warner team will average about 60 ppg this year and it'll be great for coach Rod to get to have some fun spending time with his family.

I'd love to see him coach a mid-tier southern school that has the ability to make a big splash in the national spotlight (i.e. Clemson, Arizona St).

but he always showed a ton of class and always had his players best interests and safety at the fore-front.

Dabo Swinney better have a big year in 2011. From what I've read, there are plenty of Clemson people who still have very fond memories of RR. I think it would be a perfect place for him. At the least, people down there wouldn't be looking down their noses at him right off the bat because of his accent.
