OT - Michigan Gear You'd Like to See Again

What Michigan gear would you like to see made again?  I'm itching for some M gear but don't like much of what is offered.

 

1. I miss the "narrow" block M hats that were sold back in the late nineties.  IMO they had a classier appearance than the current ones.  The retro Bo hat had too flat a bill.

 

2. Can we get some sweet Dri Fit gear?  A small block M with minimal Adidas logos would be sweet too.

3. Let's go back to the block M on the shoulders of our away Jerseys.  That was the best one.  Looks much better than the current.

I liked the hockey jerseys a lot better when the shoulder patches were the university seal rather than the block M and the hockey sticks.  I feel our University's seal is very underused for marketing purposes - academic and athletic.

I want to get my hands on a "skinny" block M hat. Bo made that skinny block M  so iconic. Even though I do like the lighter maize color, I would like to see more of the darker traditional maize too.

Before the State game this year, I ran up to Family Fare to grab a few thing for a potluck we were having at work. The employees were allowed to wear any clothing that represented their favorite team that day. I saw quite a few # 7 and 20 jerseys, but my jaw damn near hit the floor when I saw the young lady collecting  the shopping carts rocking THE # 21 jersery; made by Champion no less, in pristine condition. I asked her where she got it from since it was obvious she didn't buy it recently. She told me it was her dad's, and that he got when he was a student at Michigan. She told me that he was going to let her have when she goes off to Michigan next fall.  I told her that I envied both her and her dad because he went to Michigan, she was going to Michigan, and they both had a kick ass jersey.

I'd like a letterman's jacket, kinda like what Denard wears now.  The natural tan leather sleeves, block M on the front left chest, script block letters on the back.  That'll work.

The current uni's are lame.  (The floor is pathetic too.)

Go back to the Fab 5 era Maze uni's with the proud block M. 

We're Michigan, be proud of it.  Chris Webber does not own those uni's, we don't have to hide them.

Anyone know where I could get a similar looking jersey as they wore in 1938-1940?  I've been wanting to make an old school Tom Harmom jersey.  I've been trying to find a plain navy blue top, then I can stitch on the numbers from there.

I'm searching for a pic online, but having no luck.  I looked everywhere for my old hat. Can't even find a picture of it online.  My dad bought it for me around 1995.  It was a gray wool looking hat with a big nike swoosh on the front. I think it said Michigan on the bill or maybe on back part I really can't remember.  It was one badass hat though and I hope to find it. Wish me luck.  Did anyone else have one?
