Meeting Coach B tomorrow - any questions?
Tomorrow before the UCONN game Coach Beilein will speak to members of the New York/New England area alumni clubs at a bar in Storrs. Time for questions is included.
So, if you could ask Coach B one question through me, what would it be? If I get the chance I will ask the best question, provided it doesn't get me kicked out of the alumni club or banished from the game or something.

How does he handle helping kids get out of a shooting funk, for example LLP?

Ask him why our slot receivers are taller than our starter at the 4-spot.

3 main topics to ask about:
-Better Defense? (Last Night was probably their best defensive game all year)
-Big Men Recruiting? (We need atleast one 6'10-7'0, 250lbs, monster who is a dunking, rebonding, posting up machine)
-Better Rebounding? (Seems we are out-rebounded every game and do get killed on the offensive glass)
GO BLUE!!!

on the incoming frosh and whether or not Michigan is done recruiting.
Also, what has been the response from past Michigan greats, those who return back to AA teaching the youngins about Michigan past and participating in pick up games.
Thanks!

With our size disadvantage against most teams and our parade of perimeter players has he given more thought into extending the defense more often to increase the pace of the game?

He should let the MGOBLOG posters coach by liveblog one game next season. Beilein will yell in the plays as he reads them off of the live blog.

Will he also yell in your T&A jokes and have a printer to show the pictures you'll inevitably post?

Ask him is he confident that Gibson is going to make significant strides from this year to the next to become a solidifying force in the middle. And what are his plans in the upcoming years to get big men to play for him in the big ten seeing as his philosophy for big men require them to be more of hybrids than traditional Big Ten plug the hole in the middle players.

I thought you were talking about Coach Barwis.

Ask him what the story is with Grady's minutes.
February 6th, 2009 at 1:49 PM ^
Why it took him so long to switch up the lineup?
Sheppard went many games with zero minutes before recently.
LLP was getting way too many minutes for a guy struggling with his shot. (before last night)
How can they get back to the defense and the high intensity play that won them games against UCLA and Duke?
February 7th, 2009 at 12:51 PM ^
B has said repeatedly that we are improving, and that beating Duke/UCLA doesn't mean we're there yet . . . it's a process. Ok . . . so here's the question: We're obv. not there yet. So how long does he think until we have success (defined as a .600 winning percentage in the Big Ten) - next year? In two years? Or he doesn't have a clue?
