2nd Best Fight Song?

Submitted by AMazinBlue on
Of course there is no better fight song than The Victors, but is there one that is at least a catchy tune? I don't like it, but the ND fight song at least flows kinda like the Victors and USC's isn't too bad. Hail To The Redskins is catchy too. Oklahoma's is purely obnoxious. Any thoughts?

The Stanford band is great though, I know a lot of traditional fans don't like their approach but it fits the culture of the university and the area so well. I like how they make fun of the other teams too, like when they play USC they march down the field really slowly and play that Tribute to Troy song over and over and over. I guess they have to be somewhat entertaining considering the team they put on the field most years...

Honestly, the Big Ten has the best fight songs of any conference. This is just my opinion of course, but I'd take "Minnesota Rouser" or "Go U Northwestern" over the Gators fight song, or anything from the SEC really. I'd also have to give honorable mentions to ND, Army, Navy and Air Force. The Victory March, as much as I am loathe to admit it, is a phenomenal song, as are the Military fight songs. Although Wild Blue Yonder and Anchors Aweigh were already old marches when they were adopted for fight song duty. All that said, there are a few songs I do like listening to, but I dislike as fight songs. These include Rocky Top and Tiger Rag (Clemson).
