Can I ask what our rooting guide is for today?

I’m not one that cares so much as to the Kenpom ratings but more who we think we would have the best matchup with in a theoretical NC game. I’ve seen Duke play a couple times, and their zone does worry me, but I have never seen Kansas once. The 4 guard thing seems ok to me, but I haven’t seen them, so I welcome your opinions. As for the other game, I know Brunson on Nova is great - but I have faith in Simpson being able to neutralize him. Am I crazy? I have only seen Texas Tech dismantle Purdue, but without Haas, that didn’t seem like an accurate gauge of their abilities.

They might be the most talented team in the tournament. Two lottery picks and the rest of their starting five could go on the first round too. More than that, Marvin Bagley against Duncan Robinson and Livers looks like a terrible matchup for us. I love the strides Robinson has made on defense but nobody has been able to stop Bagley and his combination of motor, size, and athleticism is a huge problem. Mo against Wendell Carter should be fun because Carter brings many of the same skills (outside shooting, passing, ball handling) while also being a load in the post. He might even have the quickness to make things difficult for Wagner on the other end. I do like the matchups at the guard positions for us. The key would likely be if we can knock down threes against Duke's zone. Nova of course would be just as difficult because of how damn well they play. They have a lottery pick of their own in addition to Brunson. Let's worry about Loyola first though
