New 2018 ESPN NBA Mock Draft: Wagner in 2nd Round

Mo Wagner going 2nd round (#49) to Jazz

Also of B1G interest:

Jaren Jackson 4th Overall to Magic
Miles Bridges 12th to 76ers
Keita Bates-Diop 17th to Pacers
Tony Carr 41st to Pistons
Vince Edwards 53rd to Hornets

Strange but with JJJ going 4th overall I did not see Ben Carter in the Top 3. Assume that ESPN will have this fixed right away

Mo's NBA draft ceiling is probably mid-second round whether he leaves or returns. His limitations, specifically a lack of athleticism and a slow release by NBA standards, aren't going to change.

But he needs about 10-15 of good muscle, he needs to consistently perform and he needs to improve his decision making. This tourney has shown all Mt his weaknesses, while big ten tourney showed his strengths. I think he could take it to the next level for sure but I am not sure if his next level of development is best had in college or at the end of an nba bench getting beat up by sick talent daily. Tough one. I take him end of first round or beginning of second too.

is bridges more highly regarded than diop?  i'm not so sure. diop is a better shooter and has a better handle.

bridges might be a slightly better athlete but i would take diop as a #3 or stretch 4 in the nba.

2018-19 Lineup PG: Simpson, Brooks/DeJulius SG: Poole, Watson/Nunez SF: Matthews, Brazdeikis PF: Livers, Johns C: Wagner (long shot), Teske, Davis Even without Mo I think we have a very very good team next year. Poole and Livers are set to make the Beilein year 2 leap, and if Simpson can improve 20% as much as he did from last year to this year, we have a B1G championship level team.
