Anybody watch the f*$@ing Big East title game?

Wonder if Fox producers will take any heat for the broadcast.  I plainly heard no less then 10 F-bombs in the second half from players and coaches.  Was really bad after the final buzzer.  May want to turn those Courtside mics down next time!

I'm going to have to say I think your parenting abilities are in question. Your kids are probably going to say them but you would think they would have the respect not to say them in front of you if you have the decency to raise them with manners. Just because you may be lacking in the morality department doesn't mean that other generations are. My parents and grandparents would be appalled if people started dropping f-bombs in front of them in public. Keep it classy.

I honestly dont understand many curse words. They are our own invention. We decide that some words are bad to say, while others that refer to the same thing are not. Crap is ok, though shit is not. Having sex is ok to say, but fuck is not. For most of the words, it is a dumb, idiotic system. No wonder kids have so much trouble understanding it. Why do we teach them that arbitrary rules are ok?

To me, words like rape, murder, kill, and the like, should be frowned upon because they refer to horrendous acts. They should be allowed, but reserved for instances in which they refer to the real thing. Derogatory words, such as the n-word, should be bad because they are non-arbitrary tools intended to harm, or due to the fact that they were used as tools of oppression and great harm in the past. Again, what they refer to in reality is the reason they are 'bad words.'

Rant over.
