Michigan Basketball Commitment today?

From Dylan @umhoops (via twitter) "Stay on high alert for a Michigan basketball commitment very shortly. Should be today, maybe tomorrow." Who is it? My money is on Sykes.

You might be right about next season, but looking forward, I am pretty excited. We have lots of size, and to think our entire roster will return for the '11/'12 season is prety cool. I am definitely thinking Beilein knows what he is doing and there is going to be a decent amount of success with this group since they will be together for so long. As was posted in a story last week, coaches are scouting players as young as 13 or 14, so you have to think Beilein has his targets lined up for the next several years and is willing to forgo a few opportunities next year.

Yes, but remember 2 of the freshman are actually RS freshman who could both come in and play, one of the freshman is probably ready to step in and play (Metrics) and Christian is the age of the RS frosh because of his year of prep school.  So that group isn't so bad.  Hardaway won't be asked to do much right away and Horford will RS.

As for the other 5, all have significant playing time, and all but Vogrich have started a number of games.  As long as the young bigs can catch on and contribute early, we should be looking good.  And then next year, oh boy (I feel like I've  been saying this too much lately).

He adds more length to the team which we need and in a couple years could be a solid player with proper coaching. I'm guessing we could be done with Sykes but I'm not sure.
