OT: FSU Hires Oregon HC Willie Taggart

Considered one of the best relatively young Offensive minds in football. This seems like a solid hire in a solid coaching search, especially compared to the tire fire that is the UT search.
Edit
8 years as Head Coach at 3 schools
47-50 overall
Each team got better each year under him
Derwin James just announced he isn't playing in their bowl game either, as he is skipping it to prep for the draft.

When the number is miniscule--yeah--it's an issue; you don't have to get political to be encouraged by it. And a hire where he's in a real position to succeed. And we're in one of the deepest parts of the Deep South. A lot of people in Tally feeling that both the way Fisher was encouraged, in the end, to keep moving and the Taggart hire show we're getting growed up. This is a very interesting, very promising place.

Taggart is a good coach and should be successful at FSU. He knows the Florida area and should make solid recruiting inroads. Poaching FSU recruits might not be as easy as, say, Florida.

He's probably better off at UCLA. There is nothing all that unique and special about Oregon anymore. It was a one-trick pony.
Even Minnesota has video games in its locker rooms now.
