I want to win just as bad as everyone else, but we seem to be losing something by scavanging at the carcus of some of these schools?

Are the schools that pick up Speight, Harris, Hall, Ways and Malzone scavanging at our carcas?

The Michgan players you mention were pretty shown the door or left on there own accord.
From what I can tell we are trying to recruit guys still attending these schools. It just seems like we are acting like a trial lawyer rushing to bad automobile accidents.
The other thing, more often than not, transfers don't work out and can hurt the moral of the players currently on the team.
This just seems like something MSU or Illinois would do and not Michigan. We still pretty much get the pick of our high schools recruits and it makes me wonder what the staff has really recruited over the last few years to go this route.

Speight won the frickin starting QB job this year. His departure leaves us with two non-frosh scholarship QBs on the 2018 roster. Hall is a true freshman that plays OT, our biggest position of need.
Maybe the other guys.... But go back to last year and Asiasi transferred to UCLA. No chance in he!! he was shown the door.
Bama and OSU have both picked up transfers in the past two years. Pretty sure there is nothing to question about the quality of their recruits. Florida and LSU have both started Purdue QB transfers in the last 2 years.
My point is that transfers happen in today's CFB landscape. We lost a few guys the last 2 years and this is our chance to make up for the guy's we have lost. Nothing nefarious or wrong with what is happening.

Speight broke bones in his neck. Can you imagine what would happen if he came back and injured his neck again and suffered some sort of parralasis? He might have been told to retire and instead he is transfering.
Whatever the case, I think the injury is the reason he is leaving.

This is exactly why we keep losing to OSU and MSU. The culture at Michigan is just really soft. We're allowed to accept transfers from programs that cheated their way to winning! How does this become a question of morality? What exactly are we losing, other than football games?

Does this mean Patterson and Little will play in the bowl game for us?
