Edit: To be clear, I think Higdon is awesome and should be our feature RB at this point; he’s earned it. I’m simply saying that Walker looks really good and should get some more carries.

I'll probably be the 8th person to say this, but running backs who don't know the blocking schemes aren't used until they do. You see this frequently in the NFL.

Would all get major carries at another school. Do you think decent RBs want to come here and platoon with 3-4 other guys?? Doesn't seem like the coaches know who they want. It's almost random...

Actually I think they do. They only have so show some potential to get drafted. RBs have a lifespan usually and he less carries and hits the better, to an extent.

Yes, that should be our goal. Make sure everyone gets a few carries each game so they can get drafted. Definitely shouldn't put in the best guy to, you know, win the game. Sad it took this long to realize he was the best back. Shows jays competency. But wait, next week we'll go right back to platooning. Book it.

I've been hoping for Walker to break out ever since osu fans claimed their staff cooled on him but I'm not going to get overly excited about one run, against IU, where the right tackle probably got away with a hold. It is encouraging though.
