how I think about it.
The formula for M to beat OSU on the regular is (1) keep recruiting like the last two cycles (speed, lots of starz mixed with good hit rate on 3* sleepers), and (2) develop a QB that can just take over a game and be the reason M wins. No. 2 will erase/reverse the small roster talent gap between M and OSU (see e.g. 1985-2000 period of M-OSU rivalry)
Obviously, this is premised on maintaining an elite D. Elite D alone, however, won't reverse the tide of the M-OSU rivalry. Elite QB play will be necessary, too.

I'm not making the claim that the O-line was perfect because they weren't, but let's not forget that Florida has a defense that is considered to be very good. The strength was their defensive front, so to run for 200 yards is a very good sign. Harbaugh's identity is on this team from game one. The recent past, the coaches who will not be named, could never imagine to run over an SEC team or have opposing coaches talk about the physicality of the team.

The defense looked great yesterday too, but OSU's offense is a machine. Florida's is a rusty old turd. Hope the DL depth can build up by then. They're going to try pounding the ball down our throats.
Until we actually beat them, and as long as Meyer is around, I'd say we're going to be at least a touchdown underdog every year.
