The Gators will now be without 10 players for Saturday’s opener, but that number could rise. A source tells Spectrum Sports more players will be suspended in the future due to their involvement in the ongoing UFPD investigation.

UPDATE: As the police investigations continue, a source tells me more suspensions are to come for the #Gators https://t.co/aO3gZKsIPz

There are probably thousands of University Of Florida students that are right now opening their e-mails only to discover that they are suspended from the football team pending the outcome of an investigation. I can't wait for the help desk - whether it is IT or Compliance - to be quite literally swamped and working double shifts.

Play sat and they know there involved but not suspended ... any game they play in could be a NCAA violation and games they play in could be vacated..SO...if they know they might be involved NOW they have to suspend them or be in NCAA trouble

Sort of makes it sound like the additional suspensions may come after the Michigan game. However, if they are really worried about eligibility issues maybe more will happen in the next 2 days. At the very least I hope it affects their focus and preparation.

This article was linked on Yahoo's main page.  Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel (who Sam Webb said picked Florida to beat us 27-17 earlier in the week) wrote a piece correcting himself that this is not a college football issue, it's a Florida Gators issue...

Seems like a good guy. His team let him down. He deserves better. Then to top it all off his doppelganger goes out and gets naked with a shark.
