once he got Johns. He has been recruiting several 4s and can't take them all, maybe two if they are the right two, but doesn't have the need or room for all of them. With two spots left, he can go for a 2 and a 3 to balance out this class.

Donlon likes it at NW.  Because IMO this reflects pretty badly on him.  Moving to another team in-conference due to past history is one thing.  Taking a recruit with him is another.   I wonder if he wants Michigan to return the knife he left in Beilein's back?

That's the nature of basketball recruiting. Very unpredictable with only few spots available every year. Nance has great upside given his bloodlines but wasn't going to be a certain star or likely early contributor. So I'm not too disappointed after the Johns commitment. Johns seems like the better prospect. And we still have a great shot at a couple great wing/forwards in this class who also seem like better prospects. If we don't add a couple of these quality players, then it might hurt a little bit.
