which at that time made him the national leader - not sure if it was surpassed - should remove any doubt, based on competition level, whether or not he possesses the skills necessary to play in the BIG. If the OL develops as hoped, all our RBs, especially Evans should put up numbers that we haven't seen in awhile, but when the machine is running on all cyclinders produced at least one 1,000 yard rusher annually. Am not certain if Harbaugh used the committee approach while at Stanford, but like Bo and those that followed, normally had a feature back, but were not hesitant to compile a stable that, at times, resulted in having a group like Boles, Vaughn and Hoard all at the same time.

The significant and obvious difference between Harbaugh and those that fine tuned his skills while in AA, is his offensive philosophy that benefts RBs in a number of ways. So many fail to remember this will be only his second full class and should keep in mind the value any particular recruit's skills will provide. For instance, I have little doubt that Samuels is perfect for the sprint draws with mest points outside the OT and other plays that require superior acceleration skills that often limits the duties of the ball carrier to simply navigate huge chunks of open field in the fasterst manner possible. This kid I really like.
